---1.---

[52- 1.--An exhibition of pictures or other optical effects by means of a
[51- cinematograph, or other similar apparatus, for the purposes of
[52- which inflammable films are used, shall not be given unless the
[52- regulations made by the Secretary of State for securing safety are
[52- complied with, or, save as otherwise expressly provided by this
[52- Act, elsewhere than in premises licensed for the purpose in
[52- accordance with the provisions of this Act.

[82- [52+ 1.-- No cinematograph exhibition (as defined in the Cinematograph Act
[82- [52+ 1952) shall be given unless the regulations made by the Secretary
[82- [52+ of State under this Act are complied with, or, save as otherwise
[82- [52+ expressly provided by this Act, elsewhere than in premises licensed
[82- [52+ for the purpose in accordance with the provisions of this Act."

[82+ 1.--(1) Subject to [certain exemptions], no premises shall be used for
[82+ a cinematograph exhibition unless they are licensed for the purpose
[82+ in accordance with this Act. (2) Subject to those provisions, no
[82+ cinematograph exhibition shall be given unless the regulations made
[82+ by the Secretary of State under this Act are complied with. (3) In
[82+ this Act 'cinematograph exhibition' means any exhibition of moving
[82+ pictures which is produced otherwise than by the simultaneous
[82+ reception and exhibition of television programmes..." - which are
[82+ defined in the same way as by section 1 of the Act of 1982.
[82+ a cinematograph exhibition unless they are licensed for the purpose
[82+ in accordance with this Act. 

[82+ (2) Subject to those provisions, no cinematograph exhibition shall 
[82+ be given unless the regulations made by the Secretary of State 
[82+ under this Act are complied with. 

[82+ (3) In this Act 'cinematograph exhibition' means any exhibition of moving
[82+ pictures which is produced otherwise than by the simultaneous reception 
[82+ and exhibition of television programmes.
