We understand that my/our sale and purchase are part of a chain of linked property transactions, in which all parties want the security which is obtained by making contracts all on the same day.

We ask you, to make arrangements with the conveyancers acting for other members of the chain to achieve this.

We understand that this involves each buyer offering, early on one day, to exchange contracts whenever, later that same day, the seller so requests. That buyer’s offer is made on our behalf, on the basis that it cannot be withdrawn or varied during that day.

We authorise you, after requesting you to exchange contracts, to agree to exchange contracts on the above basis, and to give any necessary professional undertakings to the other parties involved in the chain. I understand that I cannot revoke this authority to you on any day on which an offer to exchange contracts is made.
