It matters not what bit of paper they have got. Ask about, and see what people say... and not just any people: people you know.
The chiropractor I went to is known as Bonecrusher Smith, and I've not heard a bad word about him (other than "***K me that hurt!")... I can probably get a phone number if you want, but I'd still rate the lady in Bristol much higher.

Thanks all for the info, I feel more informed about chiropractors now even if it has shocked me somewhat. Had physio through the NHS before but they use these red lamps that, tbh didn't do a thing for me. Anyway, been put on tramacet for the time being as it seems to have travelled to my shoulder and now I have a trapped nerve :( Considering a calcium test which has been suggested but going to wait until things subside a little :)

You have all certainly given me food for thought on the subject :)

Interesting advice. I am a stone over weight but look better for it. I actually look anorexic at my ideal weight now at my age :? My back was given a pounding by medical staff during the birth of my second child, it has never been the same since, hence I have never been able to do a sit up since giving birth the second time :?

I sometimes think I look a bit on the thin side - down to 73kg now. A few people have said I look too thin, but to be fair they are all a bit on the porky side.

However, feel so good since doing my 5:2 diet. I never get heart burn any more (used to get it quite bad), never get pains in my back, got quite a spring in my step and my strava data says I can match guys almost half my age on hill climbs and time trials. btw back exercises (not that you should do them now) don't involve sit ups, it can be simple flexibility exercises.

Some of my cycling mates aren't happy though as they can't beat me any more.

I read an article today, that said its better to be target weight and eat crap than fat and eat well.
My suggestions are not legal advice

Afraid I can't recommend Billy Joel to anyone......

How does that work then? :? Surely crap is likely to cause high blood pressure and cholesterol problems :?

I dunno Mr Miner, I still wear baggy clothes to look a bit plumper  Ask Mrs Miner if a size 10 /12 is cuddly for a 47 year old :)

Doesn't that depend on the height?
