We adopt a new European constitution. We are promised transparency,, and improved democracy.

the first thing the b*stards do is to carve up the presidency and foreign secretary posts on the worst of all possible styles. it is done behind closed doors by the powerful for selfish and improper motives.

They get their constitutional powers, and then turn round and fart in our faces.

You beat me to it.
I don't have a TV at present, can anyone give me a summary of what's one wrong?
Or shall I rely on Ian & Paul at the weekend?

Try the Radio 4 website, where you can hear the whole of the Today programme (in chunks) from the morning.

Google News would be another excellent choice.

Who the hell gets their news from the TV anymore?!

I'm with you 110% on that one, dls. (You seem to be getting just like me and every bit as cynical!)

I'm out of it for the most part anyway, but let me assure you that the erosion of democracy is no better here..... and the corruption amongst politicians is, arguably, even worse.
