Recovery of Costs

At the EWCA recently I received a costs award following a successful appeal, reversing an earlier costs award against me at the first instance hearing which had been stayed pending appeal. My costs were substantial and my solicitors said they would deal with this. They recovered the appeal costs but I haven't received a penny of the county court trial costs, yet I am still being billed monthly for diddlysquat. The EWCA specified that I should receive 75% of my costs

Is there something I could do to retrieve the situation, taking on the matter myself? The opposing party in the case had his costs covered by insurance so the money is there.
